Any total solar eclipse is a magical experience, but the eclipse that passes over the rugged, sun-baked mountains of the Teruel Region — one of Spain’s most wild and untouched landscapes — happens just before sunset, making it even more special. We will be there to witness it together.

The ancient stone village, the open sky, the warmth of the Spanish summer: this is the setting for your reset. Days of yoga and workshops prepare you to receive the eclipse fully — and when the light returns, you emerge renewed.

This is not an ordinary retreat. It is a rare convergence of celestial event and intentional practice, held in one of Spain's most extraordinary places.

The Eclipse ☉

We face west. The umbra races towards us across the Spanish plains at over 2,000 km/h — a wall of shadow visible on the horizon before it swallows us whole. The sun sits low, barely 6° above the horizon. The corona blazes. Venus appears in the southwest. The temperature drops. For one minute and thirty-four seconds, time stops.

This is not a midday eclipse lost in a bright sky. This is a sunset eclipse — the rarest, most cinematic kind. The light is already golden. The horizon is already on fire. And then it goes dark.

As the light returns — feel what you feel. Laugh, cry, embrace, be still. This is your reset.

The Teruel highlands host one of Europe's premier astrophysical observatories — chosen for the darkest, clearest skies on the continent. At 1,500 metres, above light pollution and haze, the sky is a living presence. In August, the Milky Way arcs overhead in full glory. A fitting stage for an eclipse.

500-hour certified instructor, trained across Hong Kong and India. Ting brings rare technical depth and genuine warmth to every session. Her love for travel, Spain, and all things yoga runs so deep she inspired her husband Aniel to unroll his first mat — and the rest became this retreat.

Entrepreneurial by nature and relentless on the long-distance running track — muscles famously stiff to match. About a year ago, Aniel discovered yoga and something he hadn't expected: magic. Now a true convert, he is living proof it is never too late to find what makes your body sing.

Not a yogi — yet. But Juan is the reason every detail will be just right. Our man in Spain brings a passion for creating experiences where people feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Wherever Juan is, the logistics flow and the atmosphere glows.
